Kirk Cousins and Mike Zimmer had the most confusing/violent celebration to their win over Lions

0 6

The Minnesota Vikings won an absolutely wild game on Sunday as they came back in the final minute to beat the Detroit Lions, 19-17, on a 54-yard field goal by Greg Jospeh as time expired.

The Lions had scored a TD in the final minute and then converted a two-point conversion to take a one-point lead with just 37 seconds left.

But then the Lions pulled a Lions and lost another game in dramatic fashion.

Once the game was over, Vikings QB Kirk Cousins and head coach Mike Zimmer had one of the strangest celebrations you’ll ever see. Cousins grabbed his coach, his coach grabbed back and then it kind of seemed like Zimmer had to be held back.

Check this out:

Did Zimmer not like that celebration? I can’t tell. It sure seemed like at the end he was over it but maybe they were just both really excited and decided to show that in a weird way?

The whole thing feels awkward.

NFL Twitter was confused, too:
