Oklahoma completes 21-point Red River comeback with way-too-easy touchdown

On Saturday, No. 6 Oklahoma completed a 21-point comeback — the largest in Red River Showdown history — to stun No. 21 Texas 55-48. The comeback began when Sooners head coach Lincoln Riley benched starting quarterback Spencer Rattler for Caleb Williams in the second quarter and ended with a 33-yard touchdown run by Kennedy Brooks for the win.
With just 10 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, the Sooners were setting up for a possible game-winning field goal when Brooks broke away from the Longhorns’ defense. The play, which was originally was called to be a set-up run to get Oklahoma in better field position, then miraculously turned into the game-winning touchdown!!

This was without a doubt one of the best finishes to a college football game we’ve seen this season! For Texas to allow a touchdown in that scenario is devastating, especially after fumbling a three-touchdown lead.
