A pair of middleweights on four-fight win streaks are expected to fight at UFC 265.

People with knowledge of the UFC’s plans told MMA Fighting that the promotion is finalizing a fight between Uriah Hall (17-9) and Sean Strickland (23-3) at the upcoming Aug. 7 pay-per-view, which does not yet have an official venue. The fight was first reported by ESPN.

Hall has been on a tear in his past four outings, picking up victories over former UFC champions Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva, the former by a gruesome leg injury caused by a checked leg kick that ended the fight in just 17 seconds. “Prime Time” has won five of his past six bouts and his UFC record currently stands at 10-7.

Strickland made a stunning return to competition in October 2018 after being sidelined for two years following a motorcycle accident. Returning to middleweight, Strickland defeated Jack Marshman by unanimous decision and followed that with wins over Brendan Allen and Krzysztof Jotko. His current four-fight winning streak also includes a second-round TKO of Nordine Taleb in a 170-pound bout. In 13 UFC outings, Strickland sports a 10-3 record.

UFC 265 also features two-division champion Amanda Nunes defending her bantamweight title against Julianna Pena. A main event for the Aug. 7 pay-per-view is yet to be announced.
