Bellator free fight: Denise Kielholtz blitzes Kate Jackson at Bellator 247 in Milan

0 9

Former Bellator kickboxing champion Denise Kielholtz delivered a huge performance in Milan to knock out former title challenger Kate Jackson and declare herself ready to challenge for her first MMA title.

Kielholtz (6-2 MMA, 6-1 BMMA) and Jackson (11-5-1 MMA, 3-3 BMMA) faced off in the main event of Bellator 247 after the original headliner featuring Paul Daley and Derek Anderson was scratched from the card, and the Dutch striking specialist showcased her skills in emphatic fashion as she put away England’s Jackson inside one minute to serve notice to the division’s very best.

Kielholtz settled into her work immediately from the opening bell, and a big right hand, followed by a huge left hook, decked Jackson just seconds into the fight.

“Miss Dynamite” saw her opportunity and swiftly followed her opponent to the canvas, where she delivered a vicious salvo of ground strikes that forced referee Dan Miragliotta to dive in and end the bout after just 43 seconds.

It was a resounding victory for Kielholtz, who extended her winning streak to four – with her last three victories all coming via first-round finish – as she heads into 2021 knocking on the door of a title shot at 125 pounds.
