Jamie Moyle misses weight by nine pounds for Invicta FC 33 bout

Jamie Moyle’s Invicta return is already off on the wrong foot.
The former UFC fighter badly missed weight at Friday’s weigh-ins for her 115-pound encounter with Brianna Van Buren at Invicta FC 33 on Saturday, coming in nine pounds over the allowed limit.
Per officials, Moyle will be fined 25 percent of her purse and the bout will proceed as scheduled. Van Buren weighed in at 115.2 pounds.
Moyle, 29, has previously competed for the UFC and Invicta as well as appearing on season 23 of The Ultimate Fighter. She lost her last two fights with the UFC and currently holds a pro record of 4-3. Shortly after her release from the promotion in August, Moyle was re-signed to the Invicta roster.
