Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro will undergo surgery on his left ankle and foot on Friday, multiple media outlets reported.
Herro is expected to miss training camp and an undisclosed portion of the upcoming season, per the Miami Herald.
He received platelet-rich plasma and cortisone injections in recent weeks in a bid to avoid surgery.
