Burkina Faso opens 2022-23 season with mixed-gender softball game

The Baseball Softball Federation of Burkina Faso (FBBS) celebrated the start of the 2022-23 season with a mixed-gender softball game in the Nation's capital Ouagadougou on Sunday, 18 December. The day involved all the clubs of the capital.

FBBS president Ibrahima Sibore accepted at the end of the game a donation of baseball equipment by the Ambassador of Japan, Masaaki Kato. The donation includes gloves, bats, helmets, baseballs and uniforms.

Sibore summarized the 2021-2022 season and announced that the 2022-2023 season would expand baseball, softball and Baseball5 competition in Burkina Faso.
