1 hospitalized after overnight shooting in Batavia
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- One person was hospitalized after an overnight shooting on Sunday in Batavia, police announced.
Officials said the incident occurred at 3:15 a.m. in the area of Hutchins Place and State Street.
The person was struck and transported to United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia by a private vehicle, and then to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. They were treated for a non-life-threatening injury.
According to police, the incident appears to have been targeted.
Police did not release any additional information citing an ongoing investigation.
