NYSP investigating Nassau shooting

NASSAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the town of Nassau Thursday night.
Police were called around 8:15 p.m. to a reported shooting on Nassau Averill Park Road. The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police took someone into custody at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no threat to the public. Nassau Averill Park Road is closed between Millers Corners Road and Clarks Chapel Road for the investigation.
