Albany man accused of 2024 Café Hollywood shooting
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man has been arrested and is accused of being connected to a shooting at Café Hollywood last November. The Albany Police Department said Malachi Davis, 20, is facing two felony charges.
The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit arrested Davis on Thursday, charging him with second-degree attempted murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Law enforcement responded to Café Hollywood around 1:15 a.m. on November 24 for reports of a shooting, learning that a 32-year-old man was shot in the abdomen.
Police said the victim brought themselves to Albany Medical Center. Davis was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and remains in Albany County Jail.
