1 injured in fight, shooting in Poughkeepsie
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — One person was injured in a shooting on Friday in the city of Poughkeepsie, according to a Facebook post by the City of Poughkeepsie PBA. Two suspects have reportedly been apprehended.
At around 9:06 p.m. on Friday, multiple patrol units and detectives responded to the scene of a reported large fight and shots fired. Upon arrival, authorities allegedly found a 50-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the leg and foot.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, officials said. Authorities gathered evidence from the scene and two suspects were detained pending interviews, according to police.
