Albany PD questioning person of interest in fatal shooting

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A man has died after a shooting in the city of Albany. The shooting took place around 5:40 p.m. on the 300-block of Central Avenue.
Police said a 30-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his groin. He was taken to Albany Medical Center in critical condition. He later died from his injury.
The victim's identity is not being released until family has been notified.
Police said a person of interest was being questioned Thursday night in connection to the shooting.
