Troy police make arrest in 10th Ave shooting

TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Troy Police Department made an arrest on Thursday who they believe is the suspect involved in the 10th Ave shooting on Sunday, June 16. Police said Gregory Arnold, 43, was arrested during a traffic stop on Sunday, June 23 when police noticed his vehicle near Stow Avenue.

- First-degree reckless endangerment
- Criminal possession of a weapon
- Criminal possession of a controlled substance- intent to sell
- Criminal possession of a narcotic drug
Police said the victim was shot at but not hurt during the shooting, and was familiar with the suspect as they had been involved in a dispute. Charges were filed against Arnold the day of the shooting.
Police conducted a traffic stop on Arnold's vehicle and was arrested on Sunday. When Arnold was arrested, police said he had cocaine in individual bags in his possession. Arnold was arraigned in Troy City Court and remains in Rensselaer County Jail.
