Juvenile victim hospitalized after Lafayette shooting

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)-- A juvenile male victim was hospitalized after a shooting in the 100 block of Van Buren Drive in Lafayette.
The Lafayette Police Department responded to the incident Friday at 8:04 p.m., and after arriving to the scene, authorities discovered one victim who was suffering from a gunshot wound.
The juvenile was brought to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time, according to LPD.
