[Shooting Sports] Shotgun Sports Takes 3rd at Hastings Invite
Doane Shooting Sports competed at the Hastings Invitation on Saturday and Sunday in Grand Island, Nebraska, at Heartland Shooting Park. The Tigers finished with a team score of 1,880 and placed third overall.
Jack Olsen (JR/Frederick, Colo.) paced the Tigers with a score of 381 to place 5th overall. He tied for the top mark in Skeet with 99 broken targets. Skylar Clark (FR/Carleton, Mich.) and Hunter Morton (FR/Summertown, Tenn.) tied for 9th with scores of 373. Bailey Gasseling (SR/Lincoln, Neb.) was 16th overall and 3rd among the women with a score of 357. Karlie Muff (FR/Lincoln, Neb.) and Dalton Stones (FR/LaVista, Neb.) tied for 17th overall with a 356.
Concordia was the team champion with a 1,983 score while Iowa Western took second with a 1,955. Colten Uitermarkt of Concordia was the individual champion with 404 broken targets.
