Spurs defender Serge Aurier’s brother killed in nightclub shooting in France
July 14 – The younger brother of Tottenham Hotspur’s 27-year-old Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier has been shot dead in France.
Police said Christopher Aurier, who was also a footballer and represented local part-time team Rodeo Toulouse, was shot at a nightclub in the early hours of Monday morning in the southern French city.
Emergency services found him shot in the stomach in an industrial zone on the city’s outskirts, according to French media.
