Minute's silence for the victims of Hanau
On Matchday 23, German professional football will come together to show compassion for the victims (and their relatives) of the horrific shooting in Hanau. In both the Bundesliga and the Bundesliga 2, a minute's silence will be held this weekend to commemorate the victims of Hanau. In addition, the clubs in the Bundesliga and the Bundesliga 2 will wear a black armband as a mark of respect.
Right-wing extremists are suspected of having carried out the terror attack that took place in Hanau, Hesse on Wednesday evening and claimed the lives of 11 people – including the alleged perpetrator.

TSG & SNP hand over donation to KiTZ
TSG Hoffenheim and its sponsor SNP launched the "Blue Hat Day" charity initiative at the home game against VfL Wolfsburg to raise money for the Children's Tumour Centre in Heidelberg (KiTZ). For every spectator who came to the stadium in blue headwear or bought a TSG hat on the day of the match, SNP donated money to the Heidelberg-based institution. The donation, which amounted to €20,000 in total, was handed over to the Children's Tumour Centre in Heidelberg by TSG managing director Dr. Peter Görlich on Monday. He was joined there by SNP plus the TSG quartet of Christoph Baumgartner, Florian Grillitsch, Stefan Posch and Sebastian Rudy.
