Some guys just don’t do it very well.

Somebody has to bring up the rear.

Or, if you want to put a more positive light on the worst 3-point shooting accuracy among 2019 regulars, there sure is plenty of room for improvement this year.

True, the distance on the shot has gotten longer, increasing the degree of difficulty. But everyone is more experienced, and thus presumably more confident and adept, or at least more knowledgeable about their jump-shooting limitations.

The list of poor perimeter shooters includes a pair of sophomore starters, Notre Dame’s Prentiss Hubb and Duke’s Trey Jones. Hubb, who tried far more threes than Jones, is far less known than his Blue Devil counterpart.
