Thats true, there is that concern with Brown as well as his fitness.
But i suppose on the flip side, for the first half of the 16/17 season he was on loan at a truly dire Rotherham side, they were awful, had something like 15 points by the beginning of January when Browns loan was terminated and then sent to Huddersfield.
In that dire Rotherham side Brown managed 3 goals and 5 assists in just 17 games, being able to create 30 shooting chances for his teammates during that time.
Thats consistent play in a very poor side, he then went on to Huddersfield where he scored 4 goals in 18 games creating another 21 shooting chances for his teammates there.
He was also averaging 2 dribbles per game, if he can come here and replicate that sort of form then that is the sort of spark that Hernandez aside and Clarke recently we have been lacking imo.
I was against the Brown deal because it thought it was to long sighted, we needed him fit from the start of the season, but now thats passed i do hope he can have the impact for us he had for those other 2 teams
That is good research.
If he can replicate that for us then we will be in with more than a shout come April
