[Men's Basketball] Second Half Come Back Secures Rams Victory

Mobile, AL – The University of Mobile Rams junior Jabarie Escoffery led all scorers with 21 points and the men's basketball team overcame a 27-25 half time deficit to defeat the visiting Brewton Parker Barons 62-56 Saturday afternoon at Pharr Gymnasium.

With 4:53 seconds left in the game the Barons led 54-51 but that lead wouldn't last long. The Rams would then mount a 11-2 run to finish the game and secure their second SSAC win.

Escoffery connected on 3 of 6 shooting from behind the arc and went a perfect 4 for 4 from the free throw line, including the first two points to start the game winning run for the Rams. Tony-Toni Wright (JR/Mobile, Ala.) (17pts) and Will Stanford (SO/Birmingham, Ala.) (12pts) joined Esoffery (21pts) in double digit scoring to lead Mobile.
