Geoff Grossie in fine touch
Brisbane Rifle Club veteran Geoff Grosskrutz has been in fine early form for the 2017 QRA Queens, winning his club open prize shoot on Saturday, 12th.
Geoff scored a possible 150 with 15 centres to edge out New Zealand visitor Michael Collings by a centre bull.
Albert and Central’s Rob Cadden also shot a possible with 11 centres in the Brisbane Rifle Club three short range event.
Gold Coast shooter Bas Hopkins won B Grade and Bill Broome from Natives C Grade.
Brisbane club members swept the F Class events with Lindsay Crombie shooting a possible 180 with 17 centres to win F Open. Peter Drew dropped just one shot to post the best F Standard score from B Grade and Franz Knox won F Target Rifle.
