Lonzo's funky (ugly) jump shot theory

I have a theory regarding Lonzo's strange jumper: Ocular dominance. Or more specifically in Lonzo's case, he's probably extremely left eye dominant. In other words, he's a right handed player who primarily aims through his left eye. I liken his jump shot to trying to fire a rifle right handed while using his left eye to aim (ie closing his right eye to look down the sights with his left). He has compensated for the left eye dominance by essentially shooting a left handed jump shot with his right hand.

If my theory is right, there isn't really any good solution. He could learn to shoot left handed. He could try to aim out of his right eye (which I've read is extremely difficult) and then fix his jumper to match.

I'm guessing that we'll be stuck watching that jumper for the next 15 years. Hopefully his college level shooting success translates to the NBA (last nights SL game notwithstanding).
