4 killed in Mexico soccer match shooting

MEXICO CITY, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- At least four people, including a former mayor, were shot dead in Mexico after armed suspects opened fire at a soccer match in the central Morelos state, the local prosecutor's office said on Friday.

The shooting took place at around 9:15 p.m. local time on Thursday (0215 GMT on Friday) in the town of Yecapixtla after the armed suspects arrived and opened fire on those present.
