[Men's Basketball] Cumberland Gets Past Life 70-67 in MSC Men's Basketball Tournament Opening Round

LEBANON, Tenn. – Eighth-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) picked up a 70-67 victory over No. 9 seed Life (Ga.) in the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Tournament Opening Round at the Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena.

The Phoenix (10-12) were led by Isaac Stephens who scored a game-high 20 points on a perfect 9-of-9 shooting. Tavon King scored 16 points, TJ Stargell added 11 and Jaylen Negron was the final Cumberland player in double figures with 10.
