Burns scored a career-high 28 points on 10-for-13 shooting, a stark difference from the Troy native’s two points on 1-for-7 from the field in a 70-66 loss at Cal Poly on Dec. 7.
That was before Siena went on its final-exam break.
“Just getting more reps,” Burns said. “Getting more reps with my guards, being on the same page, knowing what to look for and getting a feel for each other on the practice floor. And it translated tonight.”
