OLD HICKORY, Tenn. –Lindsey Wilson men's golf sits in fifth place of a 13 team field after the first day of competition at the Phoenix Invitation held at the Old Hickory Country Club, a par 71 course that registers 6,617 total yards.
The Blue Raiders combined to shoot 14-over par (298), nine strokes off the lead as host school Cumberland (Tenn.) posted a five-over par score of 289. Martin Methodist (Tenn.) sits in second after shooting a 291 as Union (Tenn.) is in third place following the first round of action.
