Takoma Park, MD - The Washington Adventist University men's basketball team defeated Ave Maria University Wednesday night by a final score of 73-69. Therence Mayimba finished with a stellar performance recording a double-double scoring 42 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Mayimba, finished the night shooting 71% (15-21) from the floor, 66% (2-3) from beyond the arc, and 76% (10-13) from the free throw line.
