[Women's Basketball] Lady Threshers scrap together a 20-point comeback victory over Sentinels
NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel women's basketball team (2-0) took on Nebraska Christian (0-2) tonight in their home-opener for the 2018-19 season. A matchup many pointed to as an automatic win proved to be anything but, as the Sentinels' Jazmine Santiel absolutely torched the Lady Threshers for 35 points in the game. Inefficient shooting led to what was at one point a 20-point defecit for Bethel, but their persistence paid off. The pesky defense Bethel implemented in the final nine minutes setup the comeback, and the Lady Threshers left Thresher Gym with a doozy of a 67-64 win.
