National Matches a part of Camp Perry’s rich heritage
PORT CLINTON — A busy summer schedule of competition at Camp Perry is highlighted by the National Matches, a shooting sports festival that attracts more than 6,000 participants, including some of the best in the world. The National Matches first took place in 1903, were moved to Camp Perry in 1907, and have been held at the sprawling facility just east of here ever since.
