[Women's Basketball] Jackson signs fifth Tiger for 2018

Lexie Stapleton, a 5-foot-7 guard from Alexandria, Ky. has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Georgetown College starting with the 2018-19 season. Coach James Jackson announced the signing on Wednesday.

Stapleton accumulated more than 2,000 points throughout the course of her career while averaging 14.5 points on 47 percent shooting during her senior campaign at Campbell County High School. Furthermore, she knocked down 81 three-pointers while shooting 41 percent from beyond the arc resulting in her being named to both the All-District and All-Region teams.
