[Women's Basketball] No. 17 Scots Escape Pirates, 57-52

PARKVILLE, Mo. – The 17th-ranked Lyon College Women's Basketball found a way to escape Park University on the road at the Breckon Sports Center, 57-52 Saturday afternoon. Despite shooting just 34.0 percent from the field, the Scots managed to hold off a late 11-0 run in the final minute from the Pirates.

The Scots are now 17-3 overall and 13-2 in the AMC, while Park falls to 4-15 overall and 4-12 in the conference. Lyon remains in third place – one game behind No. 1 Freed-Hardeman. Park is in 10th place.
