[Men's Basketball] Vanguard Upsets Warriors in GSAC Battle

ROCKLIN, Calif. — Vanguard University posted its second Golden State Athletic Conference win over No. 22-ranked William Jessup University. Vanguard, down by 20 points to start the second half, came alive in the final minutes of play to post the 85-80 win. Three Lions scored in double figures; the first being Donte Williams who recorded a game-high 28 points, Connor Griffin with 22 points and Geremy McKay who had 13 on 6-7 shooting. Vanguard improves to 12-6 on the season and 2-1 in GSAC play while William Jessup drops to 14-5 overall and 0-3 in conference.
