Championship & Event Archivist Wanted - by: Paul Kelley

Dear Members, this year has seen many of our adult, youth and junior sailors competing at national and international events, proudly flying the SYC Burgee and I am absolutely delighted to say with much success ! The Commodore and all the club’s officers are immensely proud of all our members who have represented our club so proudly and indeed, so brilliantly and we are offer our congratulations to everyone who has competed far and wide this year !

Trying to keep track of everyone’s events and results can be challenging at times and of course, we want to share your and everyone’s results to the wider membership . With this in mind, I would very much to invite someone to take on the role of recording and collating all the events our members attend and the results they achieve throughout the year for 2025, so that we can then publish accurate accounts and results celebrating all our members sailing prouesse and achievements . This will only require minimal time spent in doing this and if someone would like to very kindly take this role on, I would be delighted to hear from you and discuss further .

Richard Fryer is very kindly endeavouring to do produce such an archive for this year and so could you please forward your event details and results for Richard via the contacts page or indirectly through myself please .
