Our very successful annual ladies dinner celebrating the ancient tradition of Nollaig na mBan will take place a little early this season on Friday 3rd of January 2020.
The feast day also called Women’s Christmas or Little Christmas traditionally ends the Christmas season on 6th January. The tradition is still very strong in Cork and Kerry and we took the opportunity some years ago to activate the custom in our club and at the same time raise funds for one of the most important medico-social services in the country. We know that every family is affected in one way or another by the wonderful work carried out by their local Hospice.
