Wheelchair Rugby’s first Annual Trustee Update, 2025-26
Cheltenham Wheelchair Rugby Club is proud to publish its first Annual Trustee Update, covering the period May 2025 to April 2026.
Following the club gaining charitable status in February 2025, the report reflects on what has been a hugely successful and important year both on and off the court.
Highlights from the year include:
- National success for both senior teams
- A third-place national finish for the first team
- International competition appearances in Prague and Cologne
- Continued growth of the club’s Wheelchair Rugby 5s programme
- Great Britain squad call-ups for several players
- Expansion of participation opportunities and community engagement
The report also highlights the wider impact of the club, including the role wheelchair rugby plays in supporting confidence, physical and mental wellbeing, inclusion and community connection.
