Up for the Challenge? Absolutely!

As we were getting ready to head to the Rec for the Newcastle game last Saturday, my wife remarked that in some ways it was less stressful supporting Bath in the days when we had no expectations. I know what she meant. After so many years in the doldrums we can all be forgiven for an occasional nagging feeling of doubt, especially when we are in the hunt for two significant trophies and the injuries to key players are starting to pile up. But there's a major difference these days; we've now got a strong, bonded squad of players capable of sustaining high levels of performance and led by a coaching team that most of our rivals would give their eye teeth for. The banner regularly seen in the Thatchers Stand neatly sums it up: "In JVG we trust"!
