You beat me to it. Was thinking exactly the same. I lost count of the number of facials, forearms making contact with the head and general messing about yet they were hardly penalised for it. I thought someone as experienced as Gareth Hewer would have come down hard on them. Of course they were able to do it because they were so dominant in the tackle: it's much easier to come down on a player's head when three of you have him on his back. We badly missed some successful "grunt" last night; even the ever reliable Jordan Thompson seemed to be struggling with the conditions from very early on.
