Everyone at the club would like to express their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Barbara Slater (Babs) who sadly passed away last week after a short illness.
Barbara was an active member of the rugby club, particularly in the 60’s and 70’s, where she was heavily involved in the Ladies Committee who provided after match meals, washed shirts and organised social functions. This committee was an integral part of the club as it developed through these years. Barbara was a leading light in the Combine Ops pantomimes which were held regular in the 60’s, which was a …
