Montreal, July 21, 2019 – Canadian Taeya Koliaska barely missed the highest step of the podium in -52 kg on Sunday, during the Junior European Cup held in Prague, in the Czech Republic. The Albertan was defeated in the finale by Russian Tatiana Tsygankova, who won by ippon.

Tatum Keen will have the honour of leading Team GB at the Opening Ceremony of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Baku after being announced as Flagbearer. Bradley Stoke’s Keen, who competes in the -52kg category, was selected from the 44-strong Team GB squad.
