Referee Abuse Update (Jan 1 – Apr 13, 2026)
We are committed to transparency and accountability regarding referee abuse across Maryland.
From January 1 through April 13, 2026, the Maryland State Referee Committee has tracked and reviewed all reported incidents in coordination with leagues and competitions.
Key Highlights
- Total abuse reports submitted: 9
- Average suspension length: 2 matches
All incidents were addressed by the appropriate competition authorities, with outcomes tracked to ensure follow-through and consistency.
