We Rode Our Luck, But Took Our Chance in Bologna Last Night

It feels good to be back playing again. The scoreline was fantastic, especially considering Bologna hadn’t lost a home match in Europe for twenty games.

Against Bologna, we rode our luck for large parts of the first half. At times we were stretched, VAR helped us out, but we took our chances when it mattered and got the result.

Well done Watkins with two goals. But there was one standout performance from the opposition in Jonathan Rowe. He caused us problems all night, direct, sharp, and confident, and his goal was well deserved. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

More importantly, Villa are back, and looking good for Sunday in the league against Forest. UTV
