We’ve taken a close look at how the eight Hibees currently out on loan have been progressing in recent weeks – read our full loan round-up below!
Thibault Klidjé – Randers
Thibault Klidjé has made four appearances for Randers since joining the Danish Superliga side on loan.
Since his substitute appearance in a 2-1 win over Copenhagen in March, the Togolese forward has made two more showings as Randers have lost out to Silkeborg and earned a 1-1 draw with Vejle in recent weeks.
Jacob MacIntyre & Lewis Gillie – Arbroath
After a number of appearances on the bench for the Red Litchies, 17-year-old defender Lewis Gillie made his SPFL debut at the weekend in Arbroath’s encounter with league leaders, St Johnstone.
Gillie was a second-half substitute as the Perthside club ran out 4-2 winners at Gayfield Park.
Young midfielder Jacob MacIntyre meanwhile has continued to pick up minutes for David Gold and Colin Hamilton’s promotion-chasing side.
In the last month, MacIntyre has made four appearances, including one start. In total, the 20-year-old has played 30 times for Arbroath this season, scoring twice and providing three assists.
Murray Johnson – Greenock Morton
Goalkeeper Murray Johnson has continued to be Morton’s first-choice goalkeeper as their Championship campaign nears its conclusion.
This month, the Ton have picked up two wins – including a vital clean sheet victory over Ayr United – as they seek to rise up the league table.
Johnson and Morton are currently eighth in the Championship standings, though they are level on points with fifth-place Raith Rovers, as well as sixth and seventh spot Ayr United and Queen’s Park.
Dean Cleland & Joseph McGrath – Stranraer
Centre-back Joseph McGrath has remained a consistent starter for Stranraer since joining the William Hill League Two outfit.
They have picked up seven points from the last 15 available, with McGrath providing a crucial assist in the Blues’ 2-1 win over title-chasing East Kilbride in March. Altogether, the defender has made 11 full 90-minute appearances for his loan team.
Unfortunately, since appearing in the aforementioned win over East Kilbride, Dean Cleland has been ruled out through injury. He has made 10 league appearances for Stranraer in total, scoring three times.
Jamie McMurdo & Owen Calder – Gala Fairydean Rovers
Winger Jamie McMurdo has made nine consecutive starts for Gala Fairydean Rovers as he continues to pick up vital experience in the Lowland League.
McMurdo nabbed his first assist of the campaign for the Rovers against Tranent in late March, before bagging a brace to help secure a 3-1 win for Gala over Bo’ness United last time out.
Wing-back Owen Calder has made four appearances in recent weeks since returning from injury in mid-March, bringing his total appearance tally up to 17 games for the Netherdale outfit.
