Klarer

Absolutely love him, I think he is a commanding centre back and brilliant in the air. Seems a good bloke too from interviews and things.

But the rest of his game is limited and he is slow. His passing was only so good in League One because no one pressed him. He gives away freekicks in dangerous areas because of poor decision making and a distinct lack of pace.

Championship is his ceiling - there I said it.

No chance unless he comes on leaps and bounds that he could cut it in the prem.

I’m not even sure he’s a top 6 Championship centre back.

I’m not saying this to troll - I genuinely see glaring weaknesses in his game. If we played 3 at the back you could have a profile of Klarer and get away with it, but in a centre back pairing? No chance.

He’s like Pontus Jansson all over again, except Klarer hasn’t reached his level yet.

Neumann cancels out most of his weaknesses yet we’ve hardly used him all season - baffling.
