Trying New Things (3 replies)

I've noticed under CD that there are so many things we should have tried this season that we haven't. There's also a fair few things we shouldn't have tried that we have.

Why haven't we tried:

Starting Priske and Stanno together
Starting Priske, Stanno, and The Duck
Playing on the break
Looking to use pace to get in behind teams
Bringing Neumann Back in
Playing Neumann at LCB


Why did we try:

Osman at LWB
Ducksch up top on his own
Constantly playing in front of teams
Iwata and Paik together at this level when we know it doesn't work
Ducksh at 9 and Stanno at 10 (we did this fir ages)

The more you analyse it, the more you can see how CD seems to have lost it a bit this season. Even last season there were baffling decisions (BPF over Alssop for 10 fecking games!) But this season he hasn't tried obvious solutions and has made some real left field calls that haven't worked out. As much as the recruitment might not have been well thought out, I think CD's decision making this season has been poor. So has his management and his building of the squad.
