If we are where we are now this time next year under our new manager, would you be demanding his sacking? And at what point would you have demanded it?

My biggest issue with CD is that he doesn’t seem to have improved any of the players we’ve brought in.

The best managers imo are the ones who get players to go beyond what they’re done before and achieve more; who can find ways to build them up to be better than when we got them.

I think this is why recruitment is an issue cos we sign players and they just seem to fall off after a few months of being with us - I don’t get what we’re doing wrong.

I’d hope the next manager who comes in is one who can take the majority of players we have and get more of a tune out of them. If there is improvement in performances and the results aren’t quite coming, I’d be accepting of it myself.

Yeah that's my big issue with Davies... I'm less bothered about specific results. You can go on a bad run and lose a few games - that's just football. It's the bigger picture that worries me. I'm not really seeing any progression anymore. He's a young manager so he's still learning but he seems to be making more mistakes tactically than he did at the start of the season. There are no signs to suggest he is learning from mistakes - it's like he thinks he's already perfected it and it's down to the players...

Players like Stansfield seem to be regressing if anything and the new signings from January have all lost their spark. They don't look anywhere near as good as they did when they came in.
