Two Changes Ahead Of Fir Park Clash
Head Coach David Gray has made two changes to his Hibernian FC starting XI ahead of our William Hill Premiership match against Motherwell this afternoon.
The first change is at the back, with Jordan Obita coming into the XI after a spell on the sidelines. The Ugandan international replaces Jack Iredale in defence.
Raphael Sallinger remains in goal whilst Warren O’Hora and Rocky Bushiri are selected once more in the backline.
Felix Passlack and Nicky Cadden are deployed on the flanks, as Miguel Chaiwa, Dan Barlaser and Jamie McGrath start in midfield.
A Socceroos link-up starts in attack for Hibs, as Ante Šuto – who earned his first Australia call-up earlier this week – partners the incoming Martin Boyle in attack. Boyle captains the side this afternoon on his 400th appearance for the Club.
Owen Elding, who makes way for the skipper, and Iredale are both named on the bench. Further reinforcements include goalkeeper Jordan Smith, defenders Grant Hanley and Chris Cadden, midfielders Joe Newell, Kai Andrews and Josh Campbell, and centre-forward Dane Scarlett.
Rudi Molotnikov and Josh Mulligan miss out. The match comes just too soon for Molotnikov while Josh Mulligan is back on the grass as he continues his recovery.
