Signs of progression as a team (1 reply)
I'm not usually one to start a thread after a game. But watching today got me thinking, does anyone truly see signs of progress as a team under this coaching setup? And I mean that as a genuine question, I'd love to be enlightened if I'm missing what others are seeing.
The constant wrong decisions in attacking play are hallmarks to me of an attacking unit that aren't well coached. Likewise, time and again we're vulnerable defensively to balls over the top, yet seemingly no closer to solving either issue. Jay seems to be regressing as a player compared to the confident shoulder of the defender player we saw in the Championship 2 seasons ago.
I'm honestly loathe to criticise because we were so shit for a decade before Davies came in, and he's got us comfortabke on the ball in a way we haven't been since the Hughton days, but I'm really struggling to see signs of positive progress in our general play.
