Freddie’s debut goal helps U21s to go top
NEW signing Freddie Naylor scored on his debut as Colwyn Bay U21s gained a 3-0 Tuesday night win at home to Connah’s Quay Nomads U18s to go top of the FAW Reserve League North Premier Conference.
Elliott Bullock put the young Seagulls in front after 16 minutes and Logan Sumner added a second 19 minutes later to put the young Seagulls 2-0 up at half-time.
Freddie Naylor, who has joined Colwyn Bay after being with Crewe Alesandra, Wrexham and Connah’s Quay, added the third goal early in the second half to seal a win that puts Colwyn Bay two points clear of Llandudno Reserves at the top of the table from the same number of games.
