Queen’s Park To support Glasgow SE Foodbank At Ayr Match

QUEEN’S PARK FC is delighted to support the club’s supporters’ association in a second Foodbank appeal this season.

The club and QPSA successfully raised more than £450 in cash and collected more than half a tonne of food back in October.

The turnout in the week leading up to our narrow 2-1 defeat to St Johnstone – edged by a last-minute winner from Josh McPake – was phenomenal and was the largest single collection for GSE foodbank in 2025.

Donations from the players, coaching staff, office at The city Stadium and supporters – supplemented by the visiting Saints fans required two full vans to transport the goods to the base in Dixon Avenue.

Now the club is pleased to support the QPSA in Saturday’s appeal in our match against Ayr United.

Food can be brought along to the matchday appeal on Saturday from 2pm – or donate via the Bell Jar or Rose Reilly pubs in Govanhill throughout the week.

Much needed donations include non-perishable items like tinned meat/fish/fruit, pasta, long-life milk, coffee, and toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste).

Cash can also be donated direct to the foodbank via QR codes around the ground.
