Andre dispute brewing between Milan and Corinthians
Milan could be forced to appeal to FIFA after Corinthians reportedly tried to block the €17m purchase of 19-year-old midfielder André.
The story emerged in ESPN Brasil over the weekend, suggesting the clubs were very close to a full agreement for July 1.
It would be worth at least €12m plus bonuses, although most reports have the figures at closer to €15m plus €2m in add-ons.
Andre eager for Milan move
However, Brazilian sources continue to warn that Corinthians President Osmar Stabile is stalling and does not seem prepared to sign off on the deal.
Coach Dorival Junior is also publicly against the move, feeling that the price is too low for this talent.
If this drags on, then La Gazzetta dello Sport warn Milan and the player, full name André Luiz Santos Dias, could be forced to appeal to FIFA for a way through.
They maintain the paperwork has already been drawn up by Corinthians lawyers, so if it is to be abandoned, they want some form of compensation.
